Twins Ellsa and Ellie are completely different in character, personality, taste and interests. Apart from the striking resemblance to each other, they share the one thing siblings shouldn’t…. the same taste in men.

They keep falling for the same man, creating a quiet rivalry between them. Determined not to let a man come between them ever again, Ellie and Ellsa agree to stay away from each others relationships. But when they meet Dale Carson, an FBI agent and a bachelor, their love lives are turned upside down.

But they aren’t the only ones taken by the rogue. His partner and long time lover, Gwen Johansson, also called dibs.

Carson is interested in only one of them. He is pulled by Ellie’s passion for love and art, and most importantly, him. What starts as a sexual chase, ends with his permanent retirement from bachelorhood.

But their love story is not a smooth one.

Carson’s day job comes knocking on his front door and before he knows it, his whole world is ripped apart.

Out of all the possible suspects, Ellie has the most evidence stacked up against her. She is implicated in the brutal murders of her ex-boyfriends, and Carson is faced with the horror of arresting the love of his life. With two suspects of his own, he is convinced she is being set up, but he has no way of proving it.

WOW! OMG! I have read books with characters that are crazy and twisted, but this one took the cake.  Fatal Jealousy by Christine Ow is a delightful and exciting read that I had difficulty putting down.  This is my first time reading this author’s work and it definitely will not be my last.
Fatal Jealousy is a fast paced story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It was no mystery as to who the serial killer was, however the way in which the author weaved the story made me eager to discover what was coming next.
The story centres on Ellsa and Ellie Jabari. They are identical in looks but different in personalities.  Ellsa is sophisticated and has expensive tastes. Ellie is on the other side of the spectrum. She is modest and has simple tastes.  Because of her personality men found Ellie more attractive than her sister, which made for some serious rivalry.
Dale Carson is an FBI agent with the Behavioral Analysis Unit.  He and his team solve the goriest crimes involving psychopaths.   (While reading I was reminded of the TV show Criminal Minds).  Dale is a player and is not interested in being involved in a committed relationship.  This changed, however, when he met Ellie. Ellie changed his perspective on relationships.

I enjoyed the way the romance was portrayed. It was not rushed, which made it credible.  I loved that the author built on the romance before proceeding to the suspense aspect of the story.  The way she merged both aspects made for a thrilling read.

Although I found the story riveting I am unable to give it more than 4 stars.  There were times while reading when I became a bit confused. There was so much going on that there were times I had to re-read paragraphs to get a clear understanding of who was speaking to whom.  The way the story ended it appears that this is likely to be a series,  and I am hoping that’s  the case.

This is a tale of sibling rivalry, love and jealousy.  It depicts how jealousy can negatively impact relationships and its potential to have dire consequences.  If you enjoy romance mixed with  suspense and drama then Fatal Jealousy would be a good addition to your library.
