The Phoenix Pack is back and as usual with this series, Wild Hunger packs quite a punch. Trick and Frankie are two very strong and captivating characters that easily draw readers into their story and then holds them hostage with a very intense and wildly exciting courtship. The romance is on the sweet side with some blistering chemistry that has passions burning hot with blazing hot love scenes. But the relationship has quite a few obstacles to be overcome before this mating bond can kick in with quite a bit of emotional angst involved which has readers sympathizing with Trick and Frankie, especially since this coupe is easy to connect to.

This fast paced story not only keeps readers in suspense regarding their relationship but of the outlying problems that put a damper on their relationship but the dangers and problems facing them get the adrenaline pumping and makes them hold on the edge of their seats with anticipation and thrills. Frankie’s past throws the couple as well as the packs for a loop when it comes back to bite her and Trick is the target of a psycho shifter due to an enemy that quite frankly I found to be dangerous but weird and stupid as well, I mean why would work with someone that would destroy you for no reason? Surprising twists and unforeseen betrayals keep readers guessing and the thrills coming so there is never a dull moment to be found in this read.

Wild Hunger is wild and intense and I was completely lost in the book from the very beginning so I just had to keep turning the pages until I had read every last one. I think Bracken’s book is next and just let me say that I really, really can’t wait to read it, I just have to know if he’s going to be able to overcome the tragedy that torments him. (Note: Bracken’s book will be the 4th Mercury Pack book)
