What I have to say:

Fallon Wayland’s birthday just went from bad to worst day ever when she witnesses a murder and Shane Roarke insists on protecting her despite her objections in this thrilling and sexy contemporary romance.

Shane has plenty of reasons to say away from his sister’s best friend but that won’t stop him from protecting her and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as their passions erupt and burn away their inhibitions. The attraction between Fallon and Shane has smoldered for years while being kept buried which leads to some hot and steamy encounters even while they try to deny it because they both have some emotional hang ups that have set their life goads in opposite directions. These strong compelling characters take charge and demand your attention from the very beginning and even while they have you shaking your head at their stubbornness their reasoning is easily understood and the fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps anticipations high with lots of suspense, excitement and romance.

Tension and expectation builds throughout the story as the danger to Fallon escalates and circumstances leave her and Shane not knowing who to trust and along with some surprising twists  ensures that there is never a dull moment especially when you add in this fiery couple’s personal conflicts. The well written scenes and details capture the imagination bringing the story to life and the well-orchestrated events ensure that the reader has to read every last word.

This exciting romance introduces readers to some strong sexy males that sets desires aflame and inspires some naughty dreams of just how they can guard the reader’s bodies. I was completely caught up in this story from the very beginning and I can’t wait to find out what Naima has in store for me next.
