My Review:

On his latest assignment Aidan Grieve’s has returned home to find that there is something definitely wrong and that he’s attracted to one of his suspects in this captivating paranormal romantic suspense.

Chrissy Lennox is mending from a vicious attack and the last complication she needs is the gorgeous Aidan who’s a restless adrenaline junkie that won’t stick around for long. The reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as their attraction burns hot and turns all their intentions into dust and the strong compelling characters are the perfect compliment for the other which makes their story really grab the reader’s attention and the steady to fast paced plot keeps readers shivering with anticipation of a happily ever after romance where two hearts can be mended and the author adds some magical spice to the story when two lusty mischievous selkies set out to seduce Chrissy and Aidan for their own sexual needs.

The well written scenes and details capture the imagination and bring the story to life while the well orchestrated suspense adds excitement and draws the reader in and the setting adds a perfect magical backdrop to the story as only Scotland can. Spine tingling excitement builds as the danger escalates and Chrissy gets unknowingly pulled into the investigation by the bad guys, which of course complicates not only her personal life but her friends as well.

A little something extra always spices things up and in this case adds some smoldering sensuality and charming mischief to a story full of passion and suspense and I have to say that I was completely bewitched by the story and the intriguing characters. I haven’t read the first one yet, but I will be taking care of that soon because the author gave me just enough hints to pique my interest and ensure that I just have to know what happened.
