My Review:

Rogue pilot, Ricardo Sanchez can’t resist two things: gorgeous women and impossible jobs, so he jumps at the chance to break a prisoner out of the Collective’s maximum security prison for the beautiful Skylar Rossaira in this thrilling paranormal futuristic romance.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on the edge of their seat with lots of thrills and romance. The author brings the story to life with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and the fascinating world draws the reader deeper into the story and the strong compelling characters grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.

Skylar and Ricardo’s attraction for each other burns up the pages and the sex scenes are hot enough to scorch the galaxy, but it is the relationship that has sparks flying with snarky dialogue and enough attitude to sink the ship.  The reader can’t help but get caught up in their story as they try to work out their relationship while surrounded by danger.

Spine tingling anticipation builds throughout the story as the well orchestrated suspense adds lots of excitement to the story and ensures that there is never a dull moment. Going up against the Collective aka the super rich may not be the smartest move, but hey somebody’s got to do it and I must say these two make the perfect team to do so. Skylar and Ricardo are vibrant characters but together they are combustible and the reader can feel the energy as if flows from the pages.

The author has created a fascinating world that combines the paranormal with sci-fi and futuristic elements to make an explosive combination. I was completely engrossed in the story from the very beginning and Nina Croft kept me on toes with surprising twists and I can’t wait to read the next one.

Nina Croft grew up in the north of England. After training as an accountant, she spent four years working as a volunteer in Zambia which left her with a love of the sun and a dislike of 9-5 work. She then spent a number of years mixing travel (whenever possible) with work (whenever necessary) but has now settled down to a life of writing and picking almonds on a remote farm in the mountains of southern Spain.
