What the book has to say:
Simply unforgettable…and wildly dangerous.
Angelina Márquez’s perfect memory recall makes her ideally suited to manage the Manhattan Ten superhero crew, a task that sometimes borders on insanity. Still, the price of being everything to everyone is high.
A recruiting trip to UCLA does nothing to cure her chronic insomnia. Intel indicates someone in the L.A. Pack may be harboring anti-super sentiment. On top of that, she’s sent to retrieve a straight-out-of-the-jungle panther shifter being detained at LAX.
Tequani was looking forward to visiting his hero brother, but when civilization unexpectedly brings out his claws, he’s court-ordered to stick with Angel while his paws are on U.S. soil. He’s fully prepared to be bored out of his skull—except Angel’s talents and beauty fill the vacant places in his soul.
Angel can’t seem to stop Quan from burning himself into her mind, right down to the exact dimensions of his abdominals. But when they fall into a trap, survival means pooling every one of their talents. A move that could balance their souls…or throw their hearts into dangerous chaos.
Warning: Feeding panther-shifters results in territorial behavior and steamy displays of affection. Be on the lookout for claw marks, love bites and heavy petting.
What I have to say:
On a recruiting trip to UCLA, Angelina Marquez’s suddenly becomes a cat sitter to shifter Tequani and when they find their selves in the middle of a trap they will have to pool their resources to stay alive in this mesmerizing paranormal fantasy. The world has some unique and interesting elements and intriguing characters and I thoroughly enjoyed this quick exciting romance although I do feel that it was too short to truly do it justice. Also, I want to point out that I have not read the previous books in the series and while I had no problem catching on I feel that the books should probably be read in sequence to get the full impact of the ongoing plot surrounding the Manhattan Ten.

Introducing Lola Dodge:
Hi. I’m Lola, and I’m a wandering fiction writer.
I’ve lived all over the U.S. and for months in New Zealand, France, the Czech Republic, and Taiwan. Chiang Mai, Thailand is my home of the moment. Since I traveled Southeast Asia, I dream of beach bungalows and ancient Khmer temples. Also zombies (unrelated). I’m addicted to cherry soda, Cadbury eggs, and curry. I hate bacon. Let’s not talk about it.
My current projects are superhero romances (yay, Manhattan Ten!) and I’m a proud writing monster at Ink Monster publishing.
In 2011, I earned my MFA in Writing Popular Fiction. My alter-ego,Elle Stone, is still writing YA.
