New Release Review! Marked at Midnight (Mark of the Dragon #1) Claire Conrad!

An ordinary night.
An ordinary bar.
Two extraordinary men.
When the nearly identical hunks of male perfection walk into the restaurant where Brittany works, she absolutely, positively does not expect them to glance her way.

They don't just glance, they stare.

She does not expect a proposition so hot she can barely believe it. Still, she accepts. Eagerly.

And one night of passion ruins her for every other man on the planet.
She can't stop thinking about them.
Wanting them.
Needing them.

But they aren't what they seem.
They're not human, but Dragon and Rider.

Beast and Dragonborn.

They live to protect humanity. To protect life.
But war is brewing...
dragon vs dragon,
brother vs brother,
ice vs fire.

Brittany soon finds herself not just giving them her heart,
but in the middle of a war she can't possibly understand.
And her love is the key to not only her survival but theirs.
To the survival of the entire world.

Let the adventure begin…One Click Now!

The first book in the Mark of the Dragon, Marked at Midnight is a hot and steamy read that I found to be an erotic paranormal romance but it could be considered fantasy as well. Brittany and her two men have an electrical chemistry and the sex scenes are blazing hot, while the romance is full of suspense and excitement. The plot is fast paced and keeps readers on the edge of their seat with thrills when a rogue dragon targets Brittany.

The story is quite enjoyable especially for a shorter read, one that can be enjoyed when can only sneak away for a short while. The author created a fantasy world with some unique elements that makes it different from others. And just to be thorough, Brittany and her two men’s story reach a satisfying conclusion, but the story has an epilogue that sets up the next book and it leaves you with a big cliffhanger, so of course, I can’t wait to read the next one.

Marked at Midnight is the 1st book in the Mark of the Dragon series
