My Review:

Burning hot desires has Laura Drummond and Dallas O’Grady thinking of forging a permanent relationship but forces are at work conspiring to keep them apart in this riveting contemporary romance.

The feud between the Drummonds and O’Gradys has been around for generations but Laura has always admired Dallas from afar and now’s her chance to have the one man she wants and the reader can’t help but get caught up in their story as they struggle against family issues and emotional issues that is hindering their budding relationship. But there certainly is no problem in the chemistry department as their attraction sizzles with fiery intensity and the frequent sex scenes including light BDSM and spanking scenes scorch readers with white hot desire. The strong compelling characters grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning and the fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with lots of suspense and passion.

Their families aren’t the only obstacle creating problems for this fascinating couple, someone seems to be out to get Dallas and no one has a clue why and spine tingling excitement keeps readers on the edge of their seat as the danger escalates, not to mention that an ex-girlfriend is trying her best to get Dallas back. Laura is a heroine that earns admiration for standing up to her bulldozing family and there are humorous moments as well as she doesn’t take Dallas dominance outside the bedroom very well and has a mouth full of snark to deliver. The scenes and details are well written and the well orchestrated suspense and excitement draw readers in and refuse to let go until the reader knows every last detail.

I was completely enthralled with this intriguing and passionate story from the very beginning and I can’t wait to read the next one…of course since I haven’t read Part-Time Lovers yet, I get to go back and read it while I am waiting.
