New Release Review! A Highland Enchantment (Order of the Dragon Knights) by Mary Morgan

Irish warrior, Desmond O’Quinlan has never surrendered his heart to any woman. He has no wish to have his soul tortured by love. Yet, the moment he locks gazes with Ailsa, his fate is destined for an adventure he never fathomed. He may have battled alongside a Dragon Knight, but his greatest challenge will come from within his own heart.

Ailsa MacDuff, a warrior among her clan, has no desire to have a man chain her to a life of obedience. However, that is before she meets Desmond. The temptation to allow this warrior inside her heart is a risk she dares to take, but one that could lead to a future of emptiness and sorrow.

When betrayal looms from within, the battleground of love is no match for these two warriors. Can the power of a Highland full moon be strong enough to unite or destroy them?

I just love visiting the Order of the Dragon Knights and A Highland Moon Enchantment enchanted me from beginning to end with wonderful characters full of depth and a steamy romance.

Desmond and Alisa make a charming couple full of electricity and charisma that pulls readers in and refuses to let go. Their romance is full of emotional turbulence and fire of a heated attraction that readers can certainly enjoy while the couple face the greatest challenge of their life which of course is one of their hearts making. Alisa is a daring character that I quite enjoyed getting to know because she certainly is not only a warrior but also very much a woman who knows her own heart and mind.

The story is full of thrills and adventure which keeps readers entertained from the very beginning while the author paints some vivid imagery that makes it easy for the reader to get caught up in the historical highland imagery. With danger and betrayals creating unexpected turns in the story, readers easily become engrossed and if they are like me, they will refuse to put the book down until every last world has been read.

A Highland Moon Enchantment is a great addition to the Order of the Dragon Knights series by Mary Morgan and since the Dragon Knights are quite sexy and heat up every page, it stands to reason that any warrior that can stand alongside them would be sexy and make a story well worth reading.

A Highland Moon Enchantment is a Tale from the Order of the Dragon Knights series.
