The wealthy owner of Genesis Gaming, Dale Ewan has a poltergeist problem and in desperation calls Endinburgh’s unique psychic detective agency. Sera and her hacker friend find more than one spirit haunting the country house. While Sera fights the shadowy presence of the of the undead founder who threatens Sera and all her friends, Jilly encounters, Adam, Dale’s brilliant ex-partner who just happens to be trapped in his own new virtual reality system.

Grabbing the reader’s attention with unique elements that make this intriguing storyline stand out, this steady paced plot keeps the reader entertained from beginning to end. This entertaining story is brought to life with vivid images and strong compelling characters that capture the imagination.

The attraction between Jilly and Adam is red hot with scorching sex scenes but a little complicated with him being a virtual ghost. The author conveys the emotions and personalities of the characters with an intensity that makes it easy for the reader to relate to them.

The suspense builds throughout the story as Sera and Jilly investigate and find a tangled web with twists and turns that keep the reader guessing. The snarky and entertaining dialogue add depth to the story giving the reader a few chuckles. I love how the author brings us Jilly’s story while continuing to keep us entertained with Sera and Blair’s.

Marie Treanor does a great job of building paranormal worlds with fresh ideas to life bewitching her readers and this one is no exception. This complex and charming story is a fantastic must read and while I recommend reading the series in order for the background it provides it is not necessary.

Serafina and the Leprechaun's Shoe

Jack is the over-qualified and underpaid researcher for Sera’s investigations and now he has a decision to make, stay in his fun dead-end job or grow up and join the family firm. Roxy is a rock singer whose mother disappears into thin air in front of admittedly wasted witnesses and leaving behind only a half-made shoe. While the combined might of Serafina’s tackle the forces haunting Roxy’s house to find Sinead, Jack is finding his heart and growing up is not only necessary, but fun.

The third book in the Serafina’s series is an intriguing and entertaining read full of fascinating paranormal characters including a satanic rock band, a zombie dog and quite possibly migrating leprechauns.

The author brings this steady paced and smooth flowing plot to life with lots of suspense, action, romance and not only the compelling characters of the Serafina Psychic Investigations. The author paints vivid pictures of each scene and character that make the reader feel as if they are part of the story.

The chemistry between Jack and Roxy burns up the pages and sex scenes singes the reader and leaves them tingling. The author makes it easily to relate to the characters by conveying their personalities and emotions with intense detail. The author weaves humor, romance, suspense and the paranormal together so well that the characters and the story are not only entertaining, they are believable.

This world created by the author is a delightful and charming one with lots of spine tingling suspenseful tension that engage the reader’s imagination and captivate the senses. The reader finds themselves so caught up in the story that when they are disoriented when it ends and they have to re-join the real world. I don’t know if the author has another book planned in this series, but I certainly hope so.
