"JANOOSE and the FALL FEATHER FAIR https://cerealauthors.wordpress.com/2020/ 07/17/janoose-and-the-fall-feather-fair-2/"

This book is a standalone romantic suspense with a touch of paranormal.

The heroine, Alex is hired to photograph some glyphs on the side of a mountain by Nathan.  The sparks start flying immediately with an attraction that neither wants along with some misunderstandings that get started off on the wrong foot. The romance builds throughout the book with a awesome and well written sex scene that had me wishing I could take Alex’s place.

The setting of the book was a beautiful and dangerous background for this very intriguing story.   The suspense builds as the couple’s photography mission turns deadly as the bad guys invade their camp on a mission of their own.  Then story gets even more engaging as the couple become aware of a paranormal presence inside the mountain.

The author describes the emotional is a rollercoaster of trust issues, romance and fighting between the hero and heroine very well and keeps the reader entertained.

I found the story to be a little slow paced, especially compared to the real length of time the story evolved in.   And while the characters of the book are engaging and believable, I found Alex’s confusion to be a little annoying at times, but that was part of character’s emotional issues. And while I didn’t love this book as I much as I do her other books, overall, I liked this story it with its intriguing plot and mysterious paranormal elements.

I was provided this book by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
