"JANOOSE and the FALL FEATHER FAIR https://cerealauthors.wordpress.com/2020/ 07/17/janoose-and-the-fall-feather-fair-2/"

The author has combined all the elements of a great paranormal romantic suspense series, action, intrigue, enemies, hope, betrayal, lovable and intriguing characters, romance, friendship, family and paranormal abilities and the reader will be completely taken with this series. With the third book in the Phoenix Rising series being a very intriguing and engaging read that can be read without reading the first two because the author gives the reader all the information needed to get caught up in the plot without overloading the reader with too much information.

The romance between Jess and Quaid is interrupted by a few problems but that doesn’t stop the attraction between the two from building throughout the story.  The sex scenes are well written and take place at appropriate times during all the chaos.

All of the characters are easily related to and easily draw the reader into their world.  The enemies are ones that everyone will love to hate; the government, private business and evil scientists.  The good guys have a lot of people to fight to keep their lives and to keep the ones they care about from being taken away again. The situation is further complicated by the supernatural abilities that the characters have to learn to control and understand.

The author has created a situation that draws the reader in and builds the suspense with every turn of the page. The fighting between the bad guys and the good guys is well described and believable giving the reader the sense of being right in the middle of the action.

The only negative I had with the story was I personally wish that Jess had overcome her problems a little sooner, but I think that she may surprise us in future books. Overall I was very entertained and intrigued with this book and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I was provided this ARC by NetGalley in exchange for a honest review
