The second book in the Enclave series is a riveting story with action, suspense, romance, very hot sex and vampires.

When the Enclave is betrayed by his former partner, Aaron is driven to hunt him down and kill him.  Gabrielle is looking for her missing sister and the search leads her to the vampire that Aaron is hunting.  Can they combine their missions and work together or will the pain of the past get in the way.

The sparks between the two fly off the pages as Aaron tries to fight it and Gabrielle tries to get over it.  All the characters in the story are captivating, but these two really capture the attention, Aaron’s haunted past adds a depth to the emotion the reader feels and Gabrielle breaks your heart with her sister’s plight and the love she feels for Gabrielle, despite how much he’s hurt her.

The author brings the story to life with well written and vivid battle scenes and steamy sex scenes. The author hints as some same sex interaction between two male characters, but she does in a very tasteful way and doesn’t go into great detail. Of course the other sex scenes in the book could set the book on fire with all the heat portrayed between the couples.

The intrigue draws the reader deeper into this fast paced, eventful book and the plot flows smoothly with great timing and settings that keep the reader well entertained throughout. 

This book can be read with reading the first one, but I am sure it won’t stay un-read for long after you read this one.  The author does a great job of keeping the reader’s interest in the story and the characters and I can’t wait to read this next book in this series.
