"JANOOSE and the FALL FEATHER FAIR https://cerealauthors.wordpress.com/2020/ 07/17/janoose-and-the-fall-feather-fair-2/"

This is the first book in the Demon Rock series.  This unique paranormal world gives the reader a new look at rock n’ roll. It has action, romance and lots of steamy sex.

Misty has always believed that rock star legend Trevor Sand is singing to her and when she hears about an impromptu local concert at a small local venue she decides that she has to go.    Trevor and his band are not ordinary mortals and as soon as he sees Misty in the crowd, he knows he has found his muse.

The instant attraction between Trevor and Misty is scorching and Misty goes with him with for the night for a once in a lifetime wish come true.  The sex is combustible and the magic out of this world.  But when Trevor tells Misty what she is to him, she runs.

There are those out there that believe Trevor and those like him are abominations and knowing what Misty is to him, they attack her.  While on the run and battling the bad guys, Misty has to accept that what is happening is real and that they are meant to be together.  The battles are well orchestrated and believable with lots of sex in between.

While the plot of the story was a good one, I had a hard time getting into the book.  It could be because of the dialogue, it kept switching from normal talking to lines of poetic songs and made it hard to follow.  The author may have intended this to immerse the reader deeper into the artist’s perspective, but I just found it distracting.

This book was provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
