My Review

The sixth book in the Redwook Pack series is a riveting read that packs an emotional punch.

With his wolf closer to the surface than others, North Jamenson is the quiet one and it’s finally turn to mate, but it order to accept Lexi as his mate he will have to share the darkness that is entwined with his soul.  The newest member of the Redwood Pack, Lexi Anderson is a latent wolf that’s holding secrets so close that she’s not sure if she even knows the truth anymore. Lexi wants to bond with North, but not only does she have to come to grips with her past, the war with the Centrals isn’t over yet and Lexi’s life is on the line and their future takes a drastic turn.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot is full of suspense, action, romance, family, friendship and betrayal.  The author brings the story to life with vivid images, surprising twists and intense details that capture the imagination and make the reader feel as if they are part of the story.  The strong and bewitching characters grab the reader’s attention and are easily related to and members of another pack are introduced in this book to intrigue the reader as well.

The attraction between Lexi and North burns hot through every page and the sex scenes leave the reader scorched.  The author conveys the emotions, passion and personalities of the characters intensely making it easy for the reader to empathize with them and understand their motivations.

The Redwood Pack is a fascinating and entertaining family that continuously surprises the reader with their strength, love, hope and loyalty.  The continuing war has taken its toll on these beloved characters, but they are still standing strong.  I love these wolves and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
