"Alright, so let me first preface this by stating I did not do the 10 day detox. I read Lisa Ryan’s book and found the information to be both insightful and interesting, and I especially enjoyed how it felt like she was someone I was having a conversation with. It felt less like a book and more like she was on my couch saying, “Girlfriend! You better put that Big Mac down!”
And as a result, I will refrain from Big Mackery for the next 10 days.

ANYWAYS, the recipes are simple but varied enough that, if I was really in the midst of this detox, I wouldn’t want to hang myself after day 3 of eating cardboard. That’s kind of a biggie. With detox regimens I’ve done in the past, if I couldn’t palette what was on the menu (and let’s be honest, it usually isn’t much), I was out. With the Renewal “Anytime” 10 Day Detox, I can tell this isn’t going to be a problem. In fact, the Watercress Salad looked so delicious that I took a screen shot of it to, you know, smack down for a normal lunch. And for those who know me in real life (and not just blog life), that is well and truly spectacular.
So with that I say: if you’re going to go for a cleanse, this is a pretty great book to start with."
