Our Beck Valley Book Review of Let Me Show You How I Love You by Jim Cullum "This lovely book can be used by so many different people, those just starting out on their adult or romantic journey going all the way through to those who have been married for so long they have forgotten the true meaning of 'Love' or have taken it a little for granted.
I can imagine so many women, once they have read this, leaving it somewhere totally on show for their partner to pick up and hopefully embrace what is inside. The author shares from his own personal experience and simply takes you through the different aspects, tips and ideas that make relationships truly work so you are not settling for second best and even things to consider when doing so. Quotes inside drawings, note pages to write your thoughts on and even website links can also be found too as an extra helpful guide. For those already in relationships it's a good tool on what you should work on to make things blossom, including ways to enjoy each other's company more.
One very simple question made such an impact with me that I knew if it was read by somebody close it would really make them think hard and you can find that in the last paragraph on page 38, yes big tease sorry!
The author does stress that no matter how hard you try in a relationship or follow any of the advice there is no guarantee that feelings will the reciprocated, you cannot simply 'make' someone love you.
One tiny pet hate for me, is the use of the affectionate word 'honey' but I can totally let the author off with this after reading his second Valentine's Day treats for his wife, seriously they could have been written as my dream night!!
Love is an extremely special reward between two people as long as you really take the time and effort to make it work and this book is a great start."
