AG: When reading Both Sides, I did feel some fear and wonder if this will one day take place in our hospitals? How close are you from a non-fiction possibility POV?

PES: That’s a great question, but I’m not sure you or your followers are going to like the answer, because we’re a long way off. As doctors told me, it’s not like transplanting a heart, or a liver. It’s a brain, and there’s still so much we don’t know. That being said, we keep getting closer every day to new possibilities and a better understanding of what we can – and can’t do – between the body and the brain.
