Protagonists Over 40 Can Still Rock: Reviews of Still Life with Breadcrumbs & The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry

Maybe it’s just me, but it seems that the protagonists in a lot of the fiction I read (excluding YA literature) are always in the age range of mid- 20s-30s.  Why is that?
