- I have been a reader my whole life. I can barely picture a brutally hot summer day as a child without a good book by my side. Or a bone chilling cold day. Or a lovely, breezy fall day. Or a rainy spring day. You get the drift.
I love reading so much that I am not capable of driving alone for more than 20 minutes without several audio books in the passenger seat.
I had written a couple of articles here and there based on local history of Cape Cod,MA where I grew up. But after a diagnosis of relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis I learned that life with a chronic illness would be so insane, I would go insane if I didn't learn to laugh at it.
There wasn't a lot of funny reading material about chronic illness around and so with my book, MS Madness!, and my blog at www.yvonnedesousa.com/blog I am changing that, one giggle at a time!
