Do you think Kelly would've been better off in town?  Why or Why not.

      I don't think there was a good place for them to go anywhere. In town there were sharpshooters, in the woods their were "survivalists"

        I don't think so. Shots were already being fired when they were leaving and looting had begun. There was also no way to know if the bombing would continue or not. I think they went with their best option which was what they'd been preparing for since her father and brother had died. Kelly's mom did everything she could think of to ensure their safety. Unfortunately, you can't control everything especially when crazy, power-hungry, sadistic rapists are involved.
