Interview with author CJ Warrant

Tell us a little bit about your book. Las Vegas stripper, Jazz is the Mirror Image of a murderer and finds out they might be twins. With help from a Denver cop, Mike, they discover the dark truth about her past and the true identity of the killer.

Have you published before? Yes. My debut book Forgetting Jane, which is a romantic thriller is came out June 2016.

Are you currently working on anything else? Actually, I have second novella of a duet series done and ready. And I have two different book series of I’m editing currently.

What is your favorite writing snack? Dried cranberries and roasted sea salt almonds. Brain food.

What gets you in the mood to write? Since I write every day, I would say my characters. They are always up front and center, wanting out!

Who is your favorite character and why? My favorite character so far has to be Jazz. Having to deal with so much trauma in her life, she stays strong and becomes a better person in the end.

Favorite book of all time? That is hard to say because I have such a wide taste in reading. But If I have to pick one now…I would say it’s not a one book per say but a series by Ella Frank called the Temptation series. Love it!

I think breakfast says a lot about a person, what is your perfect breakfast? Easy! Two eggs, sunny side up, bacon, hashbrown and Texas toast. And don’t forget Coffee.

Do you have a favorite period of time that you like to write about or would like to live? I loving living in the present, so I have to say in the present and maybe bit into the future.

Please tell us in one sentence why we should read your book! My books have characters that are real with real life problems, which they overcome by fighting hard, living hard, and loving hard while taking the readers for a thrill ride with each turn of the page.
