Tell us a little about your book.
The book follows the rampage of two escaped convicts in the Peace River
region of Alberta, and the human casualties they leave in their wake.

What inspired you to write the story.
We drove by the Peace River Prison and I started to think about the
worst-case scenario of why someone might end up in prison. The Hills of
the Peace River looked beautiful that day, and I started to think about
the existence of pure evil against that backdrop. An hour later, when I
got home the seeds of the story had taken root!

How long have you been writing?
I dabbled for many years, but only started writing seriously about ten
years ago.

Do you have any writing habits that you follow.
Not really. I have routines, but not what I'd call 'habits'.

Tell us what you think readers will love about your main characters.
For my personal favourite, I think they will love Sam the dog's loyalty.
On the human side of things, though, they will admire Jane's courage and
strength.

What is your favorite book?
I know it sounds crazy, but I loved Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice
Burroughs

Are you working on any thing else and when can we expect it out?

I am—it's historical fiction, set in Scotland. I'm in the final stages
right now, just working on the perfect ending. I'm not sure about a
release date though. I'll be shopping this one with a traditional
publisher first, so we'll see how that goes!
